The art of being a woman, en El Bigote del Sr. Smith

En ocasión del Girlie Circuit Festival, se inaugura este jueves la exposición “The art of being a woman: Mujeres Creadoras” en El Bigote del Señor Smith.

Siete mujeres artistas internacionales nos van a demostrar que el solo hecho de ser mujer ya es un arte en sí… Podremos disfrutar de obras de Ivana Flores, Amaia Arrazola, Orne Cabrita, ThaÏs Cuadreny, Laura Agustí, Silvia Rodriguez y Kris Tate. Cada una iluminará la galería con su estilo propio.

Una muestra particularmente heteróclita que podréis ver a partir de hoy a las 19h en la Calle Joaquin Costa 38, y hasta el 28 de agosto. ¿Quién dijo que no había planes en agosto?

About Astrid Jacomme

French photographer living in Barcelona and passionate by street and travel photography. Used to digital cameras, she discovered the magic of instant photography some years ago, when her mother gave her her old Polaroid 635, the same one with which all of her photographs have been taken when she was a child. It probably explains why today the work of Astrid is linked to a reflexion about childhood, emancipation and memories. Maybe because she studied chemistry or just because she understands photography as a creative tool, Astrid likes to intervene her photographs to fulfil the complete artistic process.
